"Silhouette" ~~An outline that appears dark against a light background.
Tonight I took a picture of my daughter~~ It happens to be a silhouette. So I thought I would look up the definition of that word and write about it.
A silhouette is an outline that appears dark against a light background. Do you feel like a silhouette? I do. I am a outline that appears dark against the background of God. When I am in his presence the darkness that surrounds me... no, the darkness that is me~ appears. When I am aware of who he is, of how powerful his love is, how magnificent his love is, the darkness within my soul is evident.
Oh that I could love like he does.
Oh that I could give like he does.
Oh that I could forgive like he does.
May my silhouette never overshadow his light. |
